What is it?

T2T (Talk To Tobii) is a package which contains

- a core library written in C: libt2t

- 2 mex modules for Matlab and Octave

- a simple terminal utility for test purposes: t2tio

- 2 wrappers around libt2t, for Python and Perl applications

- some sample code to illustrate how to use it.

The package is based on a former work by Fani Deligianni and Andrew T. Duchowski, which respectively developed the talk2tobii toolbox for Matlab and the libtobii.

What makes it different?

T2T has been developed to improve and extend talk2tobii and libtobii. Some bugs have been fixed and new features added: in particularly, the calibration procedure has been largely bettered. While talk2tobii was designed for Matlab and OS X only, T2T offers an interface which is available on Linux & OS X, to Matlab, Octave, C, Python and Perl code.

Who uses T2T?

T2T has been embedded in PsyScope X, a popular application to design and run experiments for cognitive science.

Many thanks to Fani Deligianni, who wrote talk2tobii and Andrew T. Duchowski who wrote the libtobii library

There's no published paper on the T2T package, however a good deal of work has been done to improve and extend talk2tobii and libtobii, and on top of them. If this work will be useful to you, please credit Luca Filippin together with Fani Deligianni and Andrew T. Duchowski. Thanks!
